Anthony Pyper is an Expedition Director and Emmy® nominated Natural History Producer & Director with more than 14 years experience leading complex expeditions and field programmes in some of the most remote and challenging environments on the planet.  He has led more than 40 expeditions across six continents, and produced & directed landmark natural history projects from Antarctica and the High Arctic to the tropics.

His career has grown from a passion for the natural world and exploration into a role that sits between the field and the bigger picture - leading teams, shaping ambitious ideas and finding ways to make extraordinary things possible in places where very little can be taken for granted.

From working alongside scientists and conservationists to leading multidisciplinary teams and complex field programmes, his work sits at the intersection of natural history, exploration, science, conservation and storytelling - on projects where the real challenge begins long before anyone reaches the field. Anthony is often involved from the earliest stages of a project, shaping the approach, developing partnerships, securing access and finding what it will take to make the ambition possible.

Alongside his professional career, Anthony has maintained a strong personal commitment to conservation, rewilding and wildlife protection in the UK, contributing hands-on to habitat restoration, ecological monitoring and species conservation projects.
